Concrete is a dense material and one that absorbs and stores heat well – protecting you and/or your products from overheating.

Concrete is a self-regulator, absorbing heat until the temperature drops and becomes cooler (at night) at which time it will then release the heat stored throughout the day.

For your precast concrete home or building, this means less need for mechanical cooling devices – thus saving you energy and money.

Because concrete has the ability to absorb and store heat in its mass, and won’t release heat quickly, it is the perfect material with which to build fire safety shelters.

We produce precast concrete bunkers from our base in Colac and can distribute them anywhere in in Victoria – whether it is for use as fire safety or underground storage.

Furthermore, we can build precast concrete homes which benefit from the natural thermal properties of concrete.
